SOLIDARITY – RESISTANCE – RESILIENCE
Global Green is a pop-up ecovillage where art, activism and performance converge to inspire action, creativity and connection. As the conscious heartbeat of Electric Picnic, Global Green is home to artists, activists, makers, musicians, foodies, poets and over 30 groups from across Ireland.
Step in for hands-on activities, nourishing conversations and bold ideas to light the way towards a healthy, fair and resilient future. On the green edge of the festival, you’ll discover dynamic new music, savour agroecological local food, and hone your pathways towards transformation.
Coordinated by Cultivate, the sustainability collective based at Cloughjordan Ecovillage.

Step into Elements of Change, Global Green’s engagement and music tent, for an unforgettable mix of body and mind stimulation. Start your day with energising yoga and stay for a vibrant, convivial space that offers a dynamic program with cutting edge panel discussions, spoken word, theatre and comedy, with live music and DJs into the early hours.

A welcoming space beside the solar panels dedicated to exploring community energy and the solar revolution. By day, it’s a place to relax, recharge (yourself and your devices), and take part in “counter-culture” bar stool conversations and biomass banter. As evening falls, the Salon transforms into an intimate venue — a laid-back chill-out spot with music, comedy, and DJs.

A tranquil green garden oasis curated by Community Gardens Ireland, featuring vibrant art, a riot of plants and an array of creative activities. Step into the potting shed to connect with initiatives from across the country and explore the diverse benefits of gardening together, from enhanced health and wellbeing to access to fresh food and positive environmental impact. On the edge of the garden Talamh Beo, Ireland’s agroecological farming organisation, will highlight practical ways to build food sovereignty and local food economies.

Slow down and savour delicious meals and coffee with a story to tell. Enjoy filled flatbreads from The Oven featuring produce from Cloughjordan Community Farm, refreshing beverages from Happy Valley Coffee & Ice Cream from d.OAT.
