Marketing is an essential part of all businesses and participants will be introduced to the 4 P’s of marketing – Product, Price, Place & Promotion and how these combine to form a comprehensive marketing plan. Examples of marketing for the green economy are used throughout the course with a focus on distinguishing ‘green wash’ from genuine and authentic statements. In understanding methods of business promotion, this course will also develop practical skills in websites, blogs, and using social media such as Facebook, Twitter etc, to establish business profiles.
