Global Action Plan Team Leader Training Day is led by Cork Environmental Forum in association with Green Works
Cork.
The training will be delivered by Mike Holden, GAP
Coordinator for Cork Environmental Forum (2003-2008) and an experienced
community workshop facilitator. The venue will be the beautiful Nano Nagle Centre near Mallow where there is a history of delivering GAP
courses to the local community.
The Global Action Plan is a simple programme - by design. Its
strength is its focus on community - and this training is your chance
to make it shine as it should.
GAP works best when former
participants take the initiative to undertake a Team Leader training
and then deliver a GAP programme in their own community, on their own
estate - or simply with a few neighbours - often in their own living
room.
For this reason, the Team Leader training will be
provided for €Free by Cork Environmental Forum and Green Works - with
the proviso that all who take part agree to deliver a GAP programme
themselves at some stage in the next 12 months.
All your
meeting materials (and any other practical supports) will be provided
by Cork Environmental Forum - all you have to do is open your door to
your neighbours and apply your training for 6 evenings of chat,
information and practical benefit!
This is your chance to make
a difference for sustainability in your own neighbourhood in a
friendly and sociable setting.
