Pot luck details:

What is a potluck?  A potluck is an event where a group gathers for a meal, and everyone brings one dish to share with the group.

What is a 99 km meal?  The concept, as explained by the 100-mile diet website (http://100milediet.org/why-eat-local), is:  "The 100-Mile Diet is about learning by doing. Getting to know the seasons. Understanding where our food comes from, and at what risk to our health and to the environment."

What should you bring?  Be creative!  Bring a dish that shows your cooking skills, your tastes, your culture, but most important, your use of local ingredients!

More details, please.  Bring a dish with at least 8-10 servings, and please also bring a utensil to serve with. The dish should be fully prepared and ready to eat, as no hob or cooker are available. Plates, utensils, cups, and soft drinks will be provided. Fill out a recipe card (available here or at registration) to share your dish, and to show us your success in sourcing locally.  (Also list all ingredients for those attending with allergies/special diets).  We will post the menus on Facebook as they develop.

Do I have to RSVP?  Yes, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
