A short scene setting presentation from Davie Philip from Cultivate will outline new trends for sustainable communities in the context of climate action and the Sustainable Development Goals. This will be followed by introductions from local initiatives in the room before getting into a facilitated future-scenario workshop that explores strategies for achieving the global goals in our local communities. The evening will include an opening and closing spoken word performance with Clare based poet Mel White and reflections and insights from our keynote listener.
If you are involved in social justice, environmental protection, climate action, the local economy, community projects or any initiative that contributes to a more sustainable Clare, this event will be of value.
