The Irish Green Building Council aims to provide a framework and leadership to accelerate the transformation of the built environment, industry and supply chain to one that is sustainable based on accepted scientific principles of sustainability.
The Irish Green Building Council proposes to set a vision of a fully sustainable built environment based on principles for sustainable development. This end goal should be the elimination of all violations of clear scientific principles that define sustainability within the built environment and its entire supply chain. The organisation will back cast from this goal to outline a series of strategies and actions which can be used to achieve this.
Éasca was formed to promote sustainable building in Ireland and to facilitate positive change in order to mainstream sustainable building practices. It brings together the most innovative private companies in the built environment. Member companies are assessed by independent assessors to ensure their products and services have a positive impact on the environment.
Easca members are generating a strong and common voice for sustainable building in Ireland. By linking together and accepting common criteria for standards and peer-review, members are moving forward the agenda for sustainable construction.

Alcohol and drug free night club dedicated to dance
Concert Hall, RDS, Dublin | www.dancefree.ie
Imagine yourself on a night out in a vibrant, ecstatic atmosphere where you're free to dance anyway you like without limitations, to the lush beats of funky music from around the globe.
The Funky Seomra was born at Cultivate in September 2008. Preceeding the Funky Seomra at Cultivate was Being Human: Meditative Healing Dance that in turn was inspired by Matthew Fox's Techno Cosmic Mass. Cultivate ran Being Human events from 2005 - 2009, integrating the arts, Yoga, mandalas, labyrinths, meditation and other practices with dance at the core of this celebration of humanity and consciousness. It would later become Kick-Start, the multi-workshop dance-focused event.

Feasta aims to identify the characteristics (economic, cultural and environmental) of a truly sustainable society, articulate how the necessary transition can be effected and promote the implementation of the measures required for this purpose.
One of the many benefits of Feasta membership is the opportunity of joining a Working Group which form a key part of our self-development. Working Groups cover range of issues – such as Land & Housing, Food, Money, and Health – with plenty of scope for new involvement.
