National Network of Community Gardens Meeting

Calling all Community Gardeners and those involved in Community Food Initiatives!!!

Sunday 19th October | 12 Noon | Cultivate

The meeting aims to bring representatives from all the Community Gardens, Community Food Projects and Food Initiatives from around the island together to establish a Group of Convenors who will communicate between the different groups and organise further meetings.  A young group of Climate Advocates will be working with the group aiming to get an online presence and information portal setup in relation to the National Network, possibly involving profiles (contact details, map location etc.) of gardens and projects from around the island.

Bringing together groups and organisations will encourage sharing of activities and events and will create a bigger voice for Community Food Initiatives when it comes to Food Policy.

The day is scheduled to run until 4pm and sandwiches, tea and coffee will be provided.
