Nearly every weekend this Spring and Summer, the Cultivate Courtyard Garden comes to life with classes, courses and workshops. Join us on our first 5 week course of the season to find out more about:
- organic gardening
- urban food production
- working with dye plants

The Beginners Guide to Organic Gardening course will kick off on the 5th of April. This is a five week course which will cover all aspects of the organic growing process, from creating your own compost, sowing seeds, organic pest management, soil health, pruning, plant propagation and an introduction to the concepts of permaculture. Each week a different practical and theoretical topic will be covered - giving you a great handle on the growing cycle to start your own organic garden. Space, time and even what sort of plants you want to grow are no limits - this course gives tips on how to create a beautiful green oasis that you'll be able to enjoy more and more as time goes by.
Class 1 - April 5th - Composting, Mulching and Soil Preparation
Class 2 - April 12th - Choosing Plants and Planting Seeds
Class 3 - April 19th - Transplanting, Plant and Soil Health
Class 4 - April 26th - Creating and Managing Habitats, Pruning
Class 5 - May 3rd - Plant Propagation and Permaculture
Time: Saturdays 2-3pm
Cost: €40 for all 5 classes
